Onyema is a Senior Consultant and her experience is built upon earlier roles at Manchester City Council and the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) in Scotland which provided a strong foundation for understanding, supporting and evaluating the work of public and third sector organisations.

Over the last five years as a consultant, Onyema has undertaken a wide range of projects across Scotland, England and Wales which predominantly focus on interventions and programmes to support disadvantaged children and young people or projects assisting minority communities. Her expertise is in equalities and issues facing disengaged children and young people. Onyema is a member of a Board of Management of the national charity, CHILDREN 1st, which provides direct services to vulnerable children and young people She is an experienced facilitator, particularly in consulting with children and young people and individuals from a minority ethnic background.
