Consultant

Sophie is a Consultant with strong analytical and evaluation skills. She has particular experience in facilitating training; conducting detailed case studies and evaluations; in depth interviews, focus groups and scoping exercises; and designing, managing and analysing online surveys.

At Blake Stevenson, Sophie has undertaken qualitative and quantitative evaluation research in the areas of health care, workforce development, education, children and young people, Community Learning and Development (CLD), and equalities. For example, she recently completed an evaluation of a community of practice for Carnegie UK Trust and research with health practitioners working with adolescent patients and a study of the experiences of legacy asylum seeker cases in Glasgow. She has also delivered self-evaluation training for the Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Organisations, and was involved in supporting grant holders in the first round of Investing in Communities.
